Two chances, actually. Scifi.com reports that Fox has ordered two more episodes in an effort to attract viewers. The ratings in December will determine whether the show stays or goes. Joss Whedon, creator of Firefly, says that their show has taken awhile to find an audience because of its poor time slot, poor promotion, and its being routinely pre-empted by baseball–their 2-hour pilot episode was never even aired. Original episodes will air again starting Dec. 6, with “War Stories.” The two-hour pilot, “Serenity,” will finally be aired on Dec. 20.
