CNN.com has an article today, detailing the top ten technologies to watch for in the upcoming year. They include holographic storage, solar power obtained from organic compounds that can be spread like paint, radio-frequency identity chips (RFID) that can be put on any consumer product and scanned (unknowingly) from up to 20 metres away, consumer robots, and LED’s starting to replace traditional incandescent lights.
