Given pithy quotes from the lead scientist like the one above, many conservative media outlets were quick to label this latest UCLA research as having deliberate political overtones. WorldNetDaily columnist Judith Reisman claims she smells a political agenda behind the UCLA study, as she claims there was with three earlier ones promoted as scientific breakthroughs “proving” homosexuals are born, not made. Reisman calls the genetic studies “an outrageous farce” and said each had been repudiated after grabbing big headlines.
SciScoop editorial aside – perhaps our traditional picture of Blind Justice should have her sword and scales replaced with a pipette and electrophoresis gel.

Not to mention the factors the initial enviroment plays in development of any semi-intelligent organism. So even if a given person is predisposed to be homosexual, their childhood enviroment might either cause them to supress it entirely, or fail to provide anything that stimulates those genes, and so the person ignores that disposition for the rest of their life.
