As far applications, there is VERY little data online about it, the technology, and haptic technology in general is so very new… I can think of a few realistic uses.

(1) Medical (operation/training/rehabilitation)
(2) Entertainment (gaming/pornography)
(3) Sports training

I suppose the possible application are endless… training as an astronaut, any science labratory training etc., I think most important would be for something like medical uses though
