Its archives date back to 2004 because it was previously a blog hosted on Blogspot (http://www.thescientistblog.blogspot.com). I transfered everything when I moved to the new domain, but the purpose changed a bit - its now more a Biology News site than a blog. Of course, I still leave personal comments from time to time.

Hope you like it,

Michael, your site looks great and I wish you much luck with it. Keeping a site like this one or your new one up and running is a major time sink. As somebody who's been trying to keep SciScoop going for over two years now, let me say that you shouldn't be discouraged if the traffic to your site is slow at first.

Let me suggest something that might help both our sites. Fell free to post articles here on SciScoop occasionally (once a week? more often? you choose) that were run from several weeks ago on your site, and add a sentence or two to that effect at the end of such a submission here along with a statement that newer content is available at your site. Then list the link to your site. It's free advertising for you and similar to what others (Howard) have done here already.

Good luck!!!!
