Nigerian newspapers today quotes the president Olusegun Obasanjo for saying that Nigeria would be in space in the next 15 years.

"In 15 to 25 years, we will put Nigeria into space. We will get there. It is not as unattainable as it looks. And we have to do it."

There’s an article in China’s XINHUA Online News: Tuskless elephants evolving thanks to poachers which notes that in the Chinese elephant population, there used to be about 2 to 5 percent with a gene for tusklessness in males, but it is now up to 5 to 10%.
