Chemical & Pharmaceutical Bulletin (CPB)

CPB is one of the main journals published in English by the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan. CPB covers physical, inorganic, organic (including natural product), medicinal and analytical chemistry as well as pharmacognosy and physical pharmacy. Search articles by selecting the “Search Archives” link on the left of the page. Alternatively, you can browse articles by volume by choosing the “Full Text Articles” link (top left of the page). Easy navigation is a feature of this website. You can also choose to search the BPB (Biological & Pharmaceutical Bulletin) too.

e-Polymers is comprised of original publications on polymer science. It makes scientific and technological breakthroughs in the field of polymer science available to academia and industry. Click the “All Scientific Papers” link in the left-hand column to search this resource. Search by author, title or abstract. Includes an email service to notify users when a new article is published. e-Polymers is peer-reviewed (click the “Editors” link on the left for more information on this).

Journal of the Korean Chemical Society and the KCSNet Database

The official research journal of the Korean Chemical Society. Click the “Journal Search” link at the top of the page to search the KCSNet database. Then, enter your search terms or choose the browse option on the left of the page. Select either the Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society (BKCS) or the Journal of the Korean Chemical Society (JKCS) to browse through. All articles are full text with a choice between PDF or HTML format. Articles are published in Korean or English.

I hear from Will@chemrefer that a new, improved version of the server is on its way that will present results in an even more intuitive format. If you’ve got any interest in what’s going on in the world of chemistry outside the mainstream journals (which funnily enough rarely cover chemistry), then this search tool is worth a look.
