3D Fractal Art

The program uses distance estimate data (based on the derivative of the iterated function) to create a height map, and then renders that height map as a colored and shaded 3D image.

but some of my friends do, will send them the link to the post here when its voted in.  Excellent job on the mountain landscape!

These are wonderful images. The mountainscape has such scale and yet looks like it’s been draped with fabric, very weird.
