3D Fractal Art

The program uses distance estimate data (based on the derivative of the iterated function) to create a height map, and then renders that height map as a colored and shaded 3D image.

New Science Projects

Our science fair projects partners have come up with a new bunch of science projects for middle schoolers: Hair today, gone tomorrow; "C" you later; Yeast rising to the occasion; Cheap heats; The dirt on dirt. Five great middle school science projects. Results come quickly and easily and the pack contains a simple supplies list, full instructions, research materials, and sample results charts and graphs.
