Did you visit NHS Choices last week, if you did, then you were one of 5.8 million people who did. Of those lots were searching for stuff about the National Health Service itself. The others were looking for things like a BMI calculator (body mass index), information on shingles (an illness caused by the same virus as chicken pox, Herpes zoster.
Others were after information on the fungal infection thrush (Candida albicans), glandular fever (Infectious mononucleosis caused by another Herpes virus, Epstein–Barr virus (EBV), occasionally cytomegalovirus (CMV). Others were after information about sciatica (severe back and leg pain caused by problems with the sciatic nerve, commonly its compression due to a prolapsed vertebral disc.
The last thing on the search list was pregnancy calculator, not sure whether that’s a calculator that assists in conception planning or working out when the baby is due…
