In the wake of Google’s random Periodic Table of Stuff and Nonsense, fellow chemistry writer Philip Ball and chemical philosopher Eric Scerri are apparently at odds over yet another new proposed format for the Periodic Table of the Chemical Elements.
According to Ball in his Crucible column in Chemistry World, “There is no hidden understanding to be teased out by ‘improving’ the periodic table, argues Philip Ball. But Eric Scerri begs to differ.”
