After the initial inspiration from @harpistkat, I’m trying to take this to another level. The meme now is simply to shoehorn a scientist’s name into a song title or lyric, if you tweet about it please use the hashtag #scientistlyrics and let’s see how silly we can make this:

It looks like someone took up the baton yesterday but used a different hashtag, so there are a whole lot more with the tag #boffinsongs (which is probably not as universal a keyword)

The #scientistlyrics #boffinsongs meme we started finally got rickrolled by @bmljenny with the line:

“Never gonna Gibbs you up, never gonna let you down…”

It was inevitable, I suppose.
