Lucidity

Diary There is no God. Of any kind. There is no mysterious force guiding me and everything else in any particular direction. Rather, no conscious force. I accept that there is a small possibility of this, it's just highly unlikely, all religions have about the same likelihood of being true. It would be foolish for me to think there was a God, after all, there is no proof. The only reason to believe in God, in any religion, is because I am told to do so. Told to by the majority of the society. Told that I am supposed to think and act in a certain way. I try to be an analytical thinker. I try to think for myself. I decide what is right and wrong. I decide how I think and act as best I can.

Almost finished with Chapter 2...

Diary For almost a year I have been slaving away at my novel. No one told me writing an epic was alot of trouble, and they didn't need to. Though I just started the actual writing this past spring, I've been planning and storyboarding since last November. I've got 60% of it plotted out, but still it's been hard to get the words on the page. The further I get, the more respect I have for big-time authors and journalists.

Diary Today I setup my account with sciscoop.
Overwhelming is how I feel about the interface.
I'm hoping to share some of my favorite subjects and eventually try my hand at my own story.
Someday I know I will have to maker html but at present I am unwilling to dedicate my time to it.
I hope the sites I post here are enlightening and entertaining.

Diary Well we have achieved a milestone. It's a week and a half or so since Ricky James has had a story on the front page. And that's not a complaint or rejoicement to do with RJ. A couple of months ago it was decided that stories should actually go into the voting queue, and it seems that that has spurred some fresh authors, myself included. And I think it's great. I hope Ricky digs something else up soon, maybe he's just been busy. But it's occured to me that perhaps this site might become a community soon. All ye who read here rejoice!
