How The West Was Lost

Television The latest newsstand issue of SFX, a British sci-fi magazine, has an excellent article on Joss Whedon's Firefly. An enterprising, er, serene fan has scanned the article onto his website so I can report to you the article has 1 ... 2 ... 3 ... 4 ... 5 ... 6 ... 7 pages full of color photographs, spoiler-free reviews and Joss' comments on all the episodes as well as some information on the upcoming Firefly movie. Another Firefly fan has emulated Roger Ebert's academic running commentary on Dark City with a Firefly commentary DVD project of his own as part of his work towards a Master's degree in Communications. Not bad work at all; he's got a four-minute intro video clip entitled "What Is Firefly?" up on his website in both RealMedia and Windows format, check it out. You HAVE ordered your copy of the Firefly DVD, haven't you?
